WIT Sustainable Development Goals
The WIT Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030 Internship was started in order to educate and heighten the importance of sustainability to the Paradise Valley community and others. In hopes to spread awareness boost the importance of the climate issues of today, we spent the summer researching and curating potential solutions to the environmental crises we are facing. The 17 SDG's were facilitated by the United Nations and adopted by 193 countries under a target date of 2030. SDG's are built on three foundational layers; environment/biosphere, social/society, and economies, with partnerships driving through it all. The layers in turn revolve around the three P's; People, Planet and Prosperity. This website will guide you through solutions, research, and some of the work from the 2021 WIT Summer Interns. Join us along the journey in achieving global sustainability now!
